The closing of businesses by pandemic contingency, the crisis and coronavirus 2020, is a problem of every city, country and the world, the places where this unfortunate event occurs most are Mexico, United States, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Italy, Spain among others, The crisis began in March causing the closure of SMEs, and medium enterprises by the global pandemic will see a list of companies fallen in the crisis we are currently experiencing.
Fines and Sanctions
So far there are only governmental instructions to resist the business crisis we are living, there are no direct fines, what can happen is that the employees of each company are fired and they start an individual or collective lawsuit before the employer for unjustified dismissal, the company has multiple ways to counter and justify the dismissal, citing the government as guilty of not taking appropriate measures such as support for businesses, declare bankruptcy due to low income or several more.
Companies that should close due to overcrowding and do not do so can be fined 500,000 pesos for not following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health at a national level.
In Mexico 65% of businesses close
With losses of 255,300 million pesos, according to CONCANACO, are the economic amounts in national currency that have been registered so far as a consequence of the global pandemic, the main problem is not meeting payroll and payment to suppliers, since the low sales force businesses and companies to gradually close their doors.
